Frequently Asked Questions

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout that stretches and strengthens muscles simultaneously, with a strong emphasis on the core. It also requires a level of concentration and mindfulness, which are necessary for mental health. Pilates also enhances body awareness which is so beneficial for all daily movements.

Pilates is great for both rehabilitation and fitness purposes.

Who is Pilates for?

Pilates is ageless and genderless - anyone can benefit from it!

With hundreds of Pilates exercises and thousands of modifications, everyone can benefit from consistent Pilates practice.

What should I bring and wear?

No need to bring anything! We provide small towels and water.

Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothes that you can move in, with minimal jewelry.

Pilates socks with grips are required for safety. Grip socks are also available for purchase at the studio.

What can I expect from sessions?

The sessions are 55 minutes, and we will use the Reformer, Trapeze table, Chair, and Barrel for a variety of exercises. You will leave the studio feeling happier, taller, and more uplifted!
